Hambantota Beach Fiesta 2025 was successfully ended on 06th, 07th & 08th June @ Hambantota Beach Park

The "Hambantota Beach Fiesta 2025" beach festival organized by the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce and the Hambantota Trade Association was held successfully on June 6th, 7th and 8th from 3:00 PM to midnight at the Hambantota Beach Park in parallelly to the Hajj festival.
Local and international foods, kite shows, Indian film screenings, market stalls, entertainment and carnival games, cultural performances, as well as music and calypso music were held throughout the three days. Over ten thousand people participated over three days to enjoy the grand festivities.
The Indian Consulate General in Hambantota involved as a key stakeholder in making this grand festival a success, bringing a new lease of life to the city of Hambantota, which had been isolated due to development projects and plans. Fonterra was the main sponsor, while other sponsors included Hambantota International Ports Company, Cargills Magic Ice Cream, Ceylon Biscuit Limited Company, Freelan Company and People's Leasing.
The beach festival held in Hambantota city with many innovative features was a fresh experience for the city and its people, and the Chamber of Commerce and the Trade Association hope to organize this festival as an annual festival in the coming years.
